CEO
Bill Mah is the visionary founder and CEO behind BM Capital Funding. Originally from Kansas, Bill attended Kansas University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business at the University of Phoenix before setting out to make his mark in the world of finance and real estate. In 1988, he took a leap and relocated to California, eager for new opportunities and bigger challenges.
Bill’s early career was shaped by over a decade at Wells Fargo. There, he witnessed firsthand how traditional banks often turn down deserving investors, not for lack of solid deals, but simply because of credit score hurdles or slow, inflexible processes. This experience convinced Bill that the industry needed a different kind of funding partner, one focused on speed, clarity, and the true potential of each deal.
Driven by the belief that “your success is our success,” Bill founded BM Capital Funding to provide a straightforward, transparent alternative for real estate investors. Under his leadership, the firm introduced fix-and-flip loan programs that have removed barriers: with no minimum credit score and no experience required, qualifying is based on the strength of the deal, not rigid checkboxes. Every aspect of BM Capital Funding was shaped to move projects efficiently from contract to closing, empowering clients to scale and succeed.
Among Bill’s most innovative initiatives is the company’s Joint Venture Program, which allows qualified contractors to become partners on deals, share in profits, and make the leap from builder or remodeler to true investor. Bill’s open, partnership-driven approach is helping transform how deals get funded and who gets to participate in real estate investment.
Away from the office, Bill has been happily married since 1995 and is a proud father of two, a daughter and a son. His personal and professional life are built around values of integrity, perseverance, and the belief that everyone deserves the chance to achieve more in real estate.
